Done In a Day

Making an Immediate Impact in Our Community

The Junior League of Pensacola’s Done in a Day projects organizes short-term, hands-on volunteer projects that create meaningful change in our community. Each project addresses a need not ordinarily served by our existing initiatives, giving our members the opportunity to make a direct and immediate difference. Done in a Day projects are designed to be completed in a single day, allowing members to see the tangible results of their efforts right away. From organizing resources to lending a helping hand, these projects provide a unique and satisfying volunteer experience where even a few hours of service can make a big impact.

Our Volunteers in Action

For our members, Done in a Day is about more than just volunteering—it’s about connecting with the community and putting our mission into action. Each project is carefully planned and executed by the Community Impact committee, ensuring that every effort meets a real need while providing a hands-on, engaging experience for our members. Junior League of Pensacola partners with a variety of local initiatives to extend our reach and support organizations addressing diverse community needs. Some of the organizations we proudly have supported in the past and present:

  • Miracle League
  • Ronald McDonald House of NorthWest Florida
  • OnBikes Pensacola Winter Bike Build
  • Watson Family Foundation Turkey Giveaway
  • Waterfront Rescue Mission
  • United Way Day of Caring

These partnerships allow our members to create immediate, meaningful impact while building lasting connections in the community.
